I am calling around to a couple different HD dealers to have my TPS re-set on My 2002 X-1, and the prices are all over the board... The cheapest i found is 50 bucks, the most expensive is $130!!!
WTF!?!?!?!? I have whitnessed the process on this, it take MAYBE! 5 minutes if the bike is warmed up!... HOW to they get the BALLS! to charge me for 1 Hours worth of Labor???!!!???

That is a LOAD of crap... pardon my use of lingo but i am a little on the mad side of the bull pucky that one has to go through to get a simple sensor re-set.

HARDLY DAVIDSON!! QUIT RIPPING US A NEW ONE EVERYTIME WE NEED SERVICE!

Sorry had to rant... Go on everyone pour on your thoughts.

Last time I did it was in Decatur IL at Coziahr HD/Buell. I was there on a Sat morning when they opened, they rolled me in first, took 20min, fed me donuts and declined to charge me.

any shoip that charges by the hour won't split the hour . . . . . that has disavantages, for sure, but advantages, as well . . ..

$50 asin't bad if you need that TPS reset, I'm thinkin -- buck-thirty seems a little off the page

25-50 seems to be the going rate. 130 is waaay too much and I would avoid that shop.

Ride to the edge!
