Author Message   Sparkorama Posted on Thursday, June 17, 2004 - 09:21 pm:        Hey all, My 99 x1 lightning muffler has cracked twice. Dealer will give me the new y-mount, so that may help. Does anyone have a stock x-1 muffler I can get? I know a lot of people have them who have replaced theirs with the higher performance after market pipes. Also, I am considering getting a vance&hines muffler, race ECM, and new air filter. Suggestions? Out of all the model years, the 99 X-1 was in the most need of the above listed performance mods. It will be a new machine!
