I noticed a lot of people don't like the new Buell splash screen for their web site. What would you do? You can change the caption. A glimpse is all they need. Conformity is a disease. Torque is the instinct you feel. Question even the loudest friend. You can change the picture. You can not change the four points. 1st point, Attention 2nd point, Independence 3rd point, Power 4th point, Rebel Well what would you do? |

It'd be interesting to see a pic of Erik and WillieG in the shouting match shot. Change the expression on the passenger's face in Attention, the driver's expression is okay. Independance: the black sheep is in the wrong location, looks like it's still trying to be part of the flock. Power: where's the corner????? Is that the response you're looking for? It's my thinking that the teasers are foretelling more than many realize, but then my mind tends to think in the abstract at times. Oh well, back to work.... |

Captions are fine. Pictures are ok. They did the job and got all of our attention. |

I think I've been to the Buell website 4 or 5 times.... EVER! They should be designing big boy bikes instead of websites |

I think with the power pic they are trying to make the point that Zebra's a "faster" but that cat has the torque to make it lunch anyway. I mean really, which one is higher on the food chain? The faster one or the quicker one? Great point if you ask me . |

I would have made the driver topless |

Power: I would have used a pic of the one where the lioness is taking down a fleeing Gazelle in mid turn, the body twisted to make the turn along with the Gazelle... Attention: Less glaze on the windshield and more of a vague monstrous reflection Independance: pull the blacksheep further from the pack, but still have it facing the same direction, so it shows that we have the same mindset but choose a different color to our madness. edited by wyckedflesh on June 01, 2004 |

ATTENTION: a black XB-12 parked just so at the Rock Store, surrounded by import bikes, yet the Buell is the only bike surrounded by people. INDEPENDENCE: as a giant group of said sportbikes head out one way, the XB pilot heads out the other, solo... POWER: ...and brings the Buell up into an immediate lurid, crossed-up wheelie that is carried thru all five gears. REBEL: the pic slowly fades to black, and then to the word "ENTER", as the rider nose-wheelies to a stop, takes off his helmet, which reveals the laughing face of Miguel Duhamel. FB |
