Going to put an S1 Tail section and single seat on my M2. Anybody out there got any (under the seat) sub frame pix of an S1? ... Know I have to modify my M2 tail Frame work....just need to see needed modification. Be great if anyone out there might happen to have that framework they want to sell..  | ||

There are picture of my bike in pieces in OZ666's garage in Buffalo, New York. I can't remember where they are on this board but they were posted in with the 20th Anniversary Stuff. I did not save those on my laptop but I did find these taken last year when the damm belt snapped.   | ||

I am going out of town today but if you can wait until the weekend I will remove the tail section of my bike, take some detailed shots and e-mail directly to you. I need a good excuse to use the new Canon Digital Rebel and close up lens I bought this week. | ||

Benmarc I didn't get any emails from you sorry.I had a fabricator do mine.I could give you his number and you could ask him questions.He's very knowledgeable about S1.He also owns one so it made it easier to duplicate.If you have questions regarding what you need to buy,you'll need to buy the taillight assembly that hold your lense and wiring thats it the rest is fabricating.Good luck | ||

I have a project bike going with a friend an the idea passed along to another friend in Ohio. A Older narrow M2 tail section will bolt right up. Even with the Manta tank it looks great!! | ||

Spidey still its long and not as sexy as the the S1 tail.But you do have comfort that anyone with a S1 will sacrifice. | ||

Hey Bads1...great pix...I already have the License/tail & Signal light assembly...got that back in November on eBay. Pix give me a good idea of what has to be accomplished. Your fabricator's phone number would be great too. | ||

I've got a Spurgin oil-cooler on my S3T, but I mounted it to the front downtube to keep it out of my way. And I agree with Dana, they work great - though the paint is peeling off of mine... | ||

slim line M2 tail section will bolt right up to a 2000 . . .. . the angle is a little different (steeper) between the seat and tank, but not a great deal | ||

Ben don't forget to email me some pics when your done.When I did mine I didn't know a soul that owned a BUELL and knew nothing about the BadWeb for help.Kind of took it on myself.But the end result was a awesome bike.I found out about this sight in 2000 just after I finished the bike.Here she is one more time.....the hybrid.  PS Of coarse the cam cover,Primary cover and rocker boxes were chromed and there not in this pic.But ATC put in there calender with a better pic. | ||

Started life as a brand new 2000 M2.Had the frame duplicated to a S1 for the tailsection.The forks are 98 S1 forks brand new.The wind screen is X1 so is the dash because the M2 gauge are larger then that of a S1 so to keep mileage correct I went that direction.Other then that a lot of chrome,banke parts,carbon fiber,Crossroads bars,Spurgin Badboy oilcooler and BUELL race kit. | ||

Dana failed to mention that his Banke parts are M2 rearsets. He also has a custom "Bomber's Special" catch can for the crack breathers. Not sure which brand of steering damper he was using. | ||

Has anybody tried "grafting" a late model M2 tailsection/seat on an S1 without modifying the frame? I have an older M2 as well and comparing the frames in the rear the S1 kicks up a bit more. For the S1 purists, don't worry. Just looking to give myself the option of taking the S1 in some longer road trips without destroying me arse. edited by dueller on January 30, 2004 | ||

Hmmmm....sounds like a challenge  I bought a late model tale/seat for my older M2 to appease the gf on longer rides. Any suggestions for long distance comfort for an S1?...I mean even a corbin is not much of a long distance improvement.y | ||
