Posted by Peter... "You know we have two "farms" (in Australia), each of them bigger than Texas? (Where's that Blake fella?)" There's an acre in downtown Kilgore that not to long ago could have bought and paid for for both those Aussie sheep farms many times over and still had enough left over to pay for all the tall buildings in Sydney. Strange thing, a Dutchman bragging on Aussie sheep farms. Well, I have heard that the Aussie's do "love" their sheep. |

Tall buildings? . . . you rang? Wait? . . The "Quasi-Dutch" are starting this brawl? With Texans, transplanted Kansanians and the tirade of Aussies that are sure to jump in? Somebody go get Dyna and tell him there's gonna be a fight. If a stupid battle is going to take place on the internet and he misses it, he'll never live it down. Tall buildings eh? How about 18,000 Restaurants in town? And which, by the way, side will PsuedoDutch be representing? Court |

Hang on! I thought the slogan went "Everything is Bigger in Texas!" Since when have y'all become interested in quality land all of a sudden? Just stick with ya slogan Fella.... SHEEP FARM? Doubt you'll find many sheep on those properties... Now I know New Zealand is close to Australia, but it's actually it's own little entity. They have a propensity towards sheep, not us, which is why we are happy to leave them there in their own little world. It's just a pity they keep migrating like they do..... Me, a Dutchman???????? Don't tell any Dutch that. I've been here five years and still can't speak their damn fool language. I'm still an Aussie. So Fella, back to square one. I'm sorry I have to say it again (yeah right!), but when compared to Australia, Texas just ain't squat! |

And Blake, there's a couple acres in Beaumont that can make that same claim! I went to Brisbane once and enjoyed it very much. I found that, on the whole, Australians and Texans have a lot in common: they speak English and they drink beer! I don't know about that sheep thing, though...

I know you still claim to be an Aussie, but "Peter", is a Dutch name if ever there was one. Let's put things on an equal basis shall we?... From what State/Province in Aussieland do you hail?

Peter Talks the truth. Anna Creek cattle station in northern South Australia is so large they fly to the nearest pub land on the road out front just to pick up a couple of slabs. (slab read 4 x sixpacks in USA) Was up there, the pub that is a couple of years with a Britt showing him the sites, told the story of flying for beer sitting at the bar, of course he did'nt belive me. The sound outside of a light plane, a guy runs in downs a glass of beer, grabs 2 slabs and leaves. The Britt in hot pursuit to photograph the event. You couldnt arrange it any better if it was a Tourist show. |

On the big Texas ranches, we use a Lear jet for such urgent errands. |

How do you land a Lear jet out in the rough stuff to give the boys their beer? Oh, that's right, you don't. Your ranches aren't big enough..... |

Jst, most of Australia still tells England and it's officials to get stuffed, which of course, is why it was a penal colony anyway...
