What a Great Class. If you're really into the technical side of riding, i strongly recommend it. I didn't quite get my knee down, but the nice thing is the place where I took the class has a permanent riding range and I can go back a work with the instructor that works at this dealership full time when ever I want to and he has the time to work with me of course.

I'm pretty much a self taught rider for anything beyond the msf course. It was very cool to find out there were a few good things that I'd picked up along the way, and a lot of bad ones.

The class was a very diverse group. We had me with about 5 years of total riding exp on my 1125r, a dude that rode 3+ hrs to take the class on his speed triple, a judge that has been riding for a little over a year on his ST1300, a man from England that lives over here now that has been riding for 37 years on a Triumph touring model (can't remember which one). There was also a newer rider on a B-King, an older guy on a new Kawi Concours and two younger dudes on a cbr1000rr and a v-strom 650. It was really cool to see how much everyone in the group improved their cornering techniques.

Was told that Lee Parks is developing other levels of this program, and my location intends on getting certified with level 2 if it's ready to go next season.

Basically, if you've ever thought about doing this class, DO IT! It's money well spent, especially if you'd like to get into track days or schools in the future like I want to, great step in that process IMO.

Oh yeah, the very little chicken strips that were left on my tires are virtually gone now.

Even on the front tire? Nicely done!

That's great to hear is was worth attending.
I will be doing the class in October (birthday present) and can't wait to get better even after 30+ years of riding.

Sweet.

I'm under the impression that the Lee Parks school's main goal isn't so much to teach people to ride faster (I'm sure that just follows naturally) but rather to teach people to ride better. (form, technique, etc..)

I'd love to take that class. I'm always eager to learn more and improve my abilities.

Lee Park's 'Total Control' is by far my favorite riding technique book. I can only imagine what it's like to apply all that under the guidance of professionals.

Glad you liked it.

Sounds very cool : ) I must remember to book in for a local (Morgan & Wacker Training) refresher course before the year is.

I did the Level 1 class two years ago, then did the Level 2 (being field tested then) last year and each course certainly improved my skills. Definitely worth taking.

Level 2 has yet to be released to the masses. They're expecting it next year.
