I try from work, home, friends houses and it takes about the same amount of time to load the Quick Board.

Just me?

It aint a North or East or cold thing either, cause it's the same here in sunny SoCal too.

But at least I can go ride and check back later.

Admin was out riding. Looks to be working fine. The Quick Board main page is getting hugely bloated. Please try using the New Messages! utility to pull up a list of all the new posts. It is the only way to efficiently browse the board. Set your preferences to open new messages link in a new window and things get even easier.

Sorry, it's Springtime and prime riding weather down here in East Texas. Let me know if things don't improve.

I'm having no problem. It's loading as fast (or slow) as it ever did.

Yes,very slow, even at work on our T-1 line.Might be time to archive some stuff--like on Stormfronts where there is stuff from way last year. And how come some sections list by most recent archive, but a few get weird and go by alphabetical order????

Seems to be loading slower for me at home (cable modem) and at work (DSL)(Of course, I only checked it at work for load speed, I'd NEVER surf the web on company time!).

Storm Fronts are alphabetized for ease of finding the one you want. The others were alphabetized to add a "weird" ambiance to the forum. ohwell :p

Be nice, I may have some pictures you are not aware even exist. They may make the MikeyP moonshot pics look tame.

Ummm, there are Quick Board topics from August of last year.

I'm just kidding. As a network administrator, I know that archiving data is always easier to talk about than to actually do. The important thing is that the BadWeb site works. May be slow at times, but it works.

I have an idea for an archive layout:

Create year folders and toss all corresponding forum threads into those folders. This is how I archive large amounts of data at work and it works very well. This feature could be used in all of the subtopics here where, when you click on a main link, then a title link, all of the folders that pop up before the most current text could easily be tossed into year folders.

Example, click the Storm Fronts link, then Southern California and get this:
Archive through December 10, 2002
Archive through February 13, 2003
Archive through February 18, 2003
Archive through February 19, 2003
Archive through February 22, 2003
Archive through February 24, 2003
Archive through February 27, 2003
Archive through March 05, 2003
Archive through February 28, 2003
Archive through January 11, 2003
Archive through January 22, 2003
Archive through March 02, 2003
Archive through November 25, 2002
Archive through October 25, 2001

Instead you would get this:
Archive 2001
Archive 2002
Archive 2003

Rock and Roll.
