I was looking through last years brochure the other night and noticed that in a "front on" technical drawing of the Uly, Buell gave us a little preview of the new right side air scoop a year in advance! I've looked at that thing 100 times and never realized it till last night. I wonder if "B.O.B." has any leaks in it. |

All XB models have always had a small right side scoop. Can you verify that it is the same one? |

It's the same size as the one on the left in the drawing. I'll post a picture of it tonight unless someone beats me to it. |

Thats different from both the old RSS, and the new RSS. Not sure what it is. |

Your right - it is slightly different. Still interesting that they put that in the brochure as it is much larger than the '09 scoop.

Buell experimented with the RSS years ago and didn't like the results, from what I understand it was large and symmetrical to the left scoop. It is possible the graphic is leftover from that. Hell its a wire frame polygon model, who knows what it was even for. |
