So I've been looking for koozies for a couple days now, locally of course, and can't find ANY! I've been to 4-5 stores and called 10 more and no one has them! I think the problem is that I'm searching the big stores (Target, Macy's, Bed Bath & Beyond, Bevmo, etc...) and should be looking at smaller novelty shops. So does anyone know where to buy them locally? If you don't know what a koozie is... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beer_koozie http://www.antiqueairfield.com/images/store/beer_k oozie_2008_sm500.jpg |

In Texas all beer stores have them, but imo if your beer is getting hot from you holding it then you are drinking too slow. |

Koozie??? WTF??? Ohhh, you mean a "stubbie cooler". Like Texas, very easy to get here, often given away as promo items. We probably have 25 or 30 at home. |

uhhhh... have you been to a gas station or truckstop lately? koozies is/are a generic term for a thermoplasticfoam cover for a can of beer. If I kicked it up to a capital K, Koozies I know nothing about. I like things that keep my beer cold and my fingers comfy, |

Which one are you looking for; the cheap foam ones that the can/bottle push into or one of them that zips up the side? I think the zipped ones look like a sweater for a drink. I've got one from the Hogs Breath Saloon in Key West if you want it. Here's one from a local bottler of a regional drink call Ale-8. Similar to ginger ale and non-alcoholic, the "ale" throws people off. http://ale8one.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=21_25&products_id=86 (Message edited by Kyrocket on July 24, 2009) |

Nothing on craigslist... I'll try some gas stops... Anywhere else? I guess they are more rare here in CA. I'm looking for the cheapo foam ones for 12oz. cans, nothing fancy, no zippers. (Message edited by ferocity02 on July 24, 2009) (Message edited by ferocity02 on July 24, 2009) |
