>>>What does Buell do differently?

Almost everything. For a better understanding . . break away from the moto-mindset and start researching Buell in disciplines like manufacturing, design and process control.

Many (not sure it's actually MOST) of Buell's awards have little to do with motorcycles per se.

Is CPB Buell only or was this a part of a HD deal. I could not find any info on the Internet to confirm or deny that.

I assume GSDesign will still produce the web site content and FUELL. Is that correct?

My name was given to a marketing person that is providing technical implementation services for Harley and Buell. From what I understand they offer services to help understand users behaviors and then translate that to Internet interface design and marketing programs.

I think the company was Ascendant Technology but after the initial contact I have heard nothing from them. I do not think I would be a good representation of Buells market share anyway.

I am looking forward to the next year of Buell ad campaigns.

I don't suppose there's an article I can download or something? I wouldn't know where to start researching.

You are on the right track.

CPB is Buell only. Expect neat stuff . . . and neat stories in the future.

>>>I think the company was Ascendant Technology but after the initial contact I have heard nothing from them.

I was also contacted by Ascendant Technology with an enthusiastic offer to be "uploaded" and have heard nothing back. Expect that one to fizzle.

>>>>I am looking forward to the next year of Buell ad campaigns.

I do too.

As you read these articles . . . put the MOTORCYCLE out of your mind so you can see clearly.

I keep seeing "Project Elvis" mentioned in these articles.

Am I reading this right? Shouldn't it be "Project Elves"?

It is kinda funny Aubrey that your bike was built using ELVIS and that they were using it at the factory during your tour at Homecoming.

Just sayin'...

I think it would interesting if the rear brake integrated with the rear pulley.

Hmm, that would allow for an "ELF" like swingarm.

Hey- I did actually find a bit of 2010 Buell news here:

http://www.intelligentdesignsolutionsinc.com/news. htm

"IDS releases Model Year 2010 Buell DDFI-3

IDS completed hardware and software validation for 2010 Buell motorcycles in early June. All ignition and fuel injection electronic modules for Buell are designed by IDS and produced by Synerject, LLC. IDS is excited about the new features and level of refinement for model year 2010! Visit your Buell dealer this fall and ask about the 2010 models!"

Looks like you're right. I was thinking they still used DDFI-2 on the XB's. Maybe this just means they're adding some enhancements to DDFI-3, like dual oxygen sensors?

Take a look at the bike in the background. There is a rack on the back. I'm not sure of the model but judging from the exhaust it is an XB

Sorry,

Guess I haven't seen the XT without the bags installed.

Thought it might be a venture type rack.
