When all of a sudden a BIRD came flying right at me... I swerved... I ducked... I said a few choice words... My friend I was riding with said he saw it hit my bike a feather flew but he never saw it come out.... We looked for it.... but no luck... it was gone... OR SO I THOUGHT! Guess who's coming to dinner??.... Now that I'm thinking about it, yesterday I was finishing the Foothills Parkway heading downhill to 129 on the old Shovel, doing some break-in/shakedown miles, and it stopped running- coasted the last couple of miles to the pull-off by the scenic sign and had to lock up the bike until I made it back with my truck and ramp... I stopped rolling just about dead-nuts where I centerpunched a squirrel on that same bike a couple of years ago. Dead squirrel mojo got me, eh?
