I was wanting to do the same thing when I was in the desert last year and was telling my Bro of the great deal you get when you go through the Military Auto Sales. I didn't get to buy a new 'bolt because my wife got new titties. I put it off and finally I am back to looking at 'bolts. So I'm talking to my Dad on the phone on my way home from base and he says my Bro. bought another bike. I ask what kind, thinking Harley because HD and Buell are the two options at the Mil. Auto Sales. I never would have guessed my Bro would have bought a Buell but he told me he bought a "Bull" I asked Dad what kind and he said "I don't know? Harley?". I said "No, that's who makes it, do you recall the type of Buell?" He didn't remember off hand and I was thinking surely he got a Uly because his other one is a Kawi KLR 650 enduro and that's the kind of riding he likes. I started naming Buell's line up and when I said Firebolt he said, "That's it, a Bull Firebolt." I'm very excited for him and know he'll love it. I just wonder if he got a Black/Cherrybomb bike. That's what I'm after right now. Can't wait to talk to him. |

I didn't get to buy a new 'bolt because my wife got new titties I'd say that's a pretty fair trade for now... Military Auto Sales...these new or repo type deals? I bet either way their pretty good deals. |

Firebolt32, the program is set up to give troops and sailors a break on taxes on new vehicles from US manufactures and some foreign mfg.'s such as Volvo. Hoser, I got a lot of trouble from those titties. I would have rather got the bike. Titties have this noise producing orifice right above them and you can't turn it off. You have more control of a bike and it's noise. |

Teeps, she loves them. I don't think she feels disrespected. Or is it you? Sorry if I offend you if I use the "T" word. |

I don't think it was TMI. I think it was NEI. Any details would be appreciated. I almost bought a bike from the military sales guys, but an email to a semi-local dealer got a price match. It was hard to argue with the prices though. Guys buying big twins saved thousands over MSRP. Congratulations to your bro. I hope he gets home soon and safe. |

Thanks Bill. I guess you might know how that desert money is. We paid off a car, bought a bunch of useless stuff, didn't invest enough, and got Momma some Hoo Ha's. Motorcycle was supposed to be tax returns but spent that money on some AR-15's. My Brother is single. He's lucky. I guess I'm lucky too, just in a less fun way. |

Could we maybe get a photo of them? I mean, to see if it was a fair trade for the 'bolt... (Message edited by vortec57 on April 27, 2009) |

Cudajohn, would your brother happen to be over there with Stingeroo and XB9er? Stingeroo's Address: Brian Cessna C Company 2-112 Unit# 43007 Camp Liberty APO AE 09344-3005 From the amount of Buell "stuff" that Court and Erik (and their wives), and others have sent over, I'd suspect that there will be a rise is Buell sales. PM Court if he's not in with Stingeroo's unit, I'm sure he can come up with some more Buell "swag" |

He isn't in an infantry unit. He is a 21B Combat Engineer with 5th Engineer Bn. As far as I know he drives a Buffalo (MRAP not the water tank LOL) We drive the Cougars so when he told me he drove a Buffalo I imediately thought a Water Buffalo (a pull behind water tank). He very well could be in the same AO or FOB as Sting and Niner but who knows (probably just those 3. He hunts IED's and has had a few encounters. I believe he travels a bit too. He is gone on mission alot. We always just operated out of the same place, no moving. Here's the info...... SPC Kris Carter 55MAC 5EN.BN. APO AE 09391 I'm sure he'll appreciate it. |

Cudajohn I wasn't offended at all, she's your wife. If she's ok with it, then I stand corrected. |

Cudajohn, probably passed him many times. Route clearance teams are your best friend. They clear the way so you feel safer, but if you have to use the porta john 15 km from base and your stuck behind them, better hope its for a number 1 and not a number 2 #1 you use a water bottle to pee in, #2 you have to us your imagination... Wish your brother the best, SSG Brian Cessna |

Combat Engineers are the unsung heroes of that whole war. After watching them (from a LONG distance) blow a bomb meant for us, they had my gratitude for life. Once you hear that !WHOMP! sound, you never forget it. I hope your brother enjoys his well deserved bike. |
