Actually my Firebolt won the popularity contest last weekend when it was parked next to a V-rod. It might help that its the only one in Birmingham right now. I was told that part of the show was taped at the new Barber Motorsports park opening this spring. |

That us indeed me BUT I don't think any of the Buell photos were mine. ( I have yet to see the show) But ROADDOG shots were mine. No one has mentioned the ROADDOG being on the show but since I got a credit I think it must have been. Forget your Buell's and Britten's that ROADDOG is one heck of a bike!! Dave |

I.m not even sure it made the show. The Roaddog was a handmade motorcycle powered by an old GM iron duke 4 cylinder motor. It was 10 feet long if it was a foot and had a frame made of angle iron and pipe. Court you have seen a picture of this bike, it used to hang over the entrance to the Buell R&D area, Had Erik's face stuck on it. The Modern Marvel people approached me about using some slides I of John Burns attempting to ride the thing. I say attempting as he crashed the thing. I am still pissed at him 'cause I wanted to ride it after him but Buzz Walneck was not about to let two crazy motojournalists crash his one of a kind bike on the same day. The thing was built by some guy in Green Bay Wisconsin in the 50's. Supposedly he used to ride back and forth to Milwaukee. Can't imagine as the thing looks to be mre of a locomotive than a bike. Anyways don't know if the thing appeared in the show or if the shots got used for background. I am hopping to see the thing next week. Dave |

If everybody puts there two cents in we just might get discovery channel to air something about the Buell. If the hurry they might be able to catch them before they disappear. I love my Buell it's sad they never seem to take a direction that would attract the majority of 18 - 25 'rs one of which Iam not but still act like. |

Hey Newfie; I'll tape the show for you this Sunday if you want. Just let me know if you haven't got someone else to do it for you. |

Rereading Dave's description of the Roaddog, I believe it was shown near the end of the show. What a monster -- they had to pan across the photo to be able to get it all in. Steve(2) |

It was shown immediately prior to Jesse James' saying "the only bike I am concerned about now....". |
