Naahh. Just more verification.

We cannot allow kids to think this crap is actually "music".

Seems last time we was on network time he didn't suck as much.

I saw the line-up of acts and thought "this is the exact same line up that it was 3 years ago".

Can they not find SOMEONE different? Why the HELL is Justin Timberlake still on the list?

Was it just me or did Whitney Houston look drunk or high out of her mind?

Holy Crap!

Well the dead peoples tribute was good.

Gonna miss Bo Diddley- and a whole lotta of those folks who create real ear candy.

I almost got over the queef factor- John Mayer has some chops, good to hear a little of his guitar work.

Issac Hayes will be missed.

If you put Hugh Grant through an anagram generator, wouldn't you get

Hugh Queef?

heck, I'm going to bed.

Mebbe the queeffs will overcome my head cold.

My GF's been queefing all night- think I can sleep anyway.

Frickin head cold.

A little off topic.. And no offense, but I tried getting into the british version of "the office".

Wow does it ever suck compared to the American version. Apparently I'm below that level of quaint british humoUr.

The US version of The Office sucks too.

The only sitcom I've watched regularly since Drew Carey is Scrubs. Beyond that, I only watch Futurama and Family Guy. TV will rot your brains.

Dunno - after Elton John for the H-D 100th, I'd bet they're planning on having Timberlake for the 110th. At least he can grow a beard.

+1 on Top Gear. The wife even likes it.

I am The Stig.

Oh yeah, back on topic: Why even watch the Grammies??! It's a bunch of soul-less crap spewed forth from the catchy-tune generating industry. Most all of those "artists" can't even perform or record a song without running their voices through a computer first (and I swear that Hetfield did this on "Day That Never Comes"). Kanye is a douche. Whitney Houston was only on so they could get ratings; viewers love a train wreck. Dave Grohl played drums for the most vanilla Beatle of all? So what?! I can't believe McCartney wasn't executed for perpetrating "Wings" upon the masses.

Video DID kill the radio star. Thank you very much, MT f'in V!

Aargh. I spent the weekend in the garage futzing around and had to shut my (formerly) favorite radio station off because every song that played just pissed me off to no end... U2 now sucks, again. Metallica needs to call it quits. Kings of Leon? Sucktastic. Weezer's whole 'lovable-hipster-loser-teen-angst' thing is getting pretty tired... What are they, mid to late 30's by now?

But I digress. They say if you don't like it, change the station. I don't. So I did. But it's all the same.

My salvation? Internet radio.

+1, Internet radio.

I always recommend WDVX, "East Tennessee's Own" radio. Nuthin but good stuff- bluegrass, americana, some Allman bros, generally GREAT tunes.

The reference was to Hugh Grant movies, not Hugh Grant himself. So the guy's a sad lonely rich loser, but as far as I recall, he got rich playing the part of someone else.

My girl has three University Degrees and is CEO of a health corporation - and she loves Hugh Grant movies.

She is also smart enough to go with her pals. :-)

The grammys were like taking a shot of perfectly chilled top shelf tequila, then a shot of warm Dekupyers flavored schnapps next. Yuk.

Very uneven, overproduced, some potential talent to be shown but obscured by idiocy.

John Mayer might be a good guitar player. BB King seemed to appreciate swapping licks with him.

Seein the "Dirty Dozen" Brass Band reduced to SIX musicians and some stupid jiggy dancers made me throw up a little bit- no, moreso a spewsave.

I'm so glad that Stevie Wonder is blind so that he couldn't see the rampant morons capering around his funky azz.
