>>>>I am really looking forward to the tour.

And rightfully so . . . you are going to have one of the best tour guides ever . . . . Mr. Scot Ferguson!

I expect some great stories!

These will have to do for now.

These are the two bikes I found most interesting at the H-D Museum;

This one is from a few minutes ago at Hal's (thanks to Ryan for showing me around);

I feel confident saying that we both had a very good time. Our 15 min tour was about 1hr 30min. Scot F. was a great tour guide and answered almost all our questions. The only one he didn't was the one I asked that I knew he couldn't answer. After telling us about what projects he has been part of I so coyly asked "So what project are you on now Scot?" "Unfortunately I can't tell you that." I knew he couldn't but it never hurts to ask. What a great place to work it seems also. The 2 gentleman that do the "road" testing have the best job there in the factory. Watching him ride a stationary 1125CR up to 90mph was great. Cameras are not allowed so not many pics but I will post them up later when I find my camera cord. Some good stories and lots of cool things to see. The best factory tour I have ever been on. No script just guys walking and talking Buell.

Court- Bruce Champion says hello. Both him and Scot spoke very highly about you and what you have done and continue to do for the Buell community. Especially in getting things moving.

Anonymous- Wish I had known that before the tour would have brought some along. He certainly did not seem nervous at all. A wonderful tour guide.

And although their day started off with some not great news delivered by Erik all of the employees seemed to enjoy what they were doing.

+1(000) on what Svh said!

Not only did Scot give us a great tour, but I learned that he also managed the '99 X1/M2/S3 project.

Being an owner of a '99 S3 I was able to ask questions and get information directly from the proverbial "horses (Pegasus'?) mouth"! : ]

That is all I could take. Wish I could have shot more as there was nothing that I would have shot that would give anything away as to how they do things but no cameras is their policy so no camera it was. Go take the tour it is a good time.

No he was there but we did not meet him. Would have been great to get an autograph on my wonderful "Buell:25Years" book but we had already taken up nearly 2 hours of Scot's time and I didn't want to make him even later for a meeting. Hopefully I can at homecoming.
