I've seen that. Pretty sick stuff. I have a pit and can't imagine my Lil Girl being a fit dog.

Dude, I have no problem admitting that show had me tearing up, especially Georgia who had all her teeth torn out from fighting.
Thank God there are still some people out there that will take in bull dogs and rehabilitate them when they've been abused.
When I first heard about the Micheal Vick bust I thought how sad that all those dog would be put down. It was great to see that they weren't.

Lots of people saved the dogs because it was a Vick dog. If what some other dog from a another fighting ring it would be put down.

Its even sadder than you think, that dog had her teeth pulled by a vet so when they force bread her she wouldn't be able to hurt the stud.... later in the show the took X-Rays of her head and there wasn't any broken off teeth left in jaw....they thought there would be if she broke them off during fights... how could a vet do that???
there are some messed up people in this world.... how someone could watch two animals rip each other apart is beyond me....

I'm happy that these less fortunate dog's got good home when they never knew what one was. But some of these family's decided to take one of these poor animal's just because it was a Vick dog. Not because it was a dog that went hungry, fought, mistreated, abandoned or abused.

What makes me sad is an article I read in the NY Times
http://www.nytimes.com/2008/12/28/world/asia/28dog fight.html?em
Dogfighting Making a Comeback in Afghanistan

I am really starting to think humanity is a disease. : (

I can't read the articles. I can't look at the pictures. I can't watch the shows.
I HATE animal cruelty that much, it makes me sick, sad and very VERY angry. The fact that people neglect animals, let alone intentionally abuse them,
defines that they have lost any part of their former god-given humanity. They disgust me, to use a defenceless animal (or tear it's defences out)
in such a way.
What would they do if left alone to a child???
