Really? Do tell!

Or are we to be tantalised with "I know but I can't tell you" hints as usual?

According to Farley, recent checks show that HD Financial Services hasn't pulled back on its lending to subprime borrowers, which represent an estimated 25 percent to 30 percent of its loan portfolio.

Hmmmmm

The future is leveraged almost completely on the past. The leadership of HD, especially marketing, should re-examine the policy of not cross-branding HD and Buell.

I keep having dreams that the dirtbike project had gone forward at Buell, going head-to-head as a premium product with the KTM and BMW efforts- at the same time expanding the product line to offer bikes all the way down to the pee-wee folks. Cross brand the bar and shield subtly but noticeably with Buell, build our markets from cradle to grave instead of just one foot in the grave like we are now.

In so many words I posed the cross-branding idea to Flickinger last March, he promptly shot it down. Of course I'm just an enthusiast and a salesman for both brands, but I stated that my favorite customer is someone who has both a hog and a Buell in their garage. He flatly rejected the notion of any possibility of this marketing approach happening, and I think this is a glaring mistake.

Whudyathink, kind folks?

2 harleys and 3 buells, i'd just as well keep them separate but i do wish they would do the dirt bike thing as do many other people here.
