Sounds like someone is just trying to justify having a job.

Now I have to stock up on beef as well as my reloading supplies?

Good thing I know how to hunt, as the game tags will be cheaper than buying beef from the store. Provided I can still afford to buy bullets that is.

But wasn't it reported that '08 was the COLDEST year of the decade? Wouldn't we want MORE methane gas produced in that scenario? http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2008/dec/05/ climate-change-weather

Will the madness ever end?

I'm a big supporter of the EPA. As long as they are acting sane.

I realize I'm an Arch Heretic on the Global Warming Cult...... But this really hits the First Amendment button.

I don't want to tithe to the Church Of Global Warming. I don't want to be forced to pay dues to George Bush's church in Texas, Barack Obama's church in Chicago, or Al Gore's church of "pay me for "carbon credits" so you can feel less guilty about having a decent life".

This attitude has freaked out at least one person on this board who was having an otherwise mildly antagonistic yet civil discussion on politics & taxes. That IMHO proves my point that the "climate change freaks" are having religious thoughts.....not rational ones.

By the way, watch for more branding changes, as "climate change" replaces "global warming" as we have been cooling for a freaking decade now.

We have only been tracking global temps for a few years. The planet has been here for billions of years. Nobody knows what has/is/will happen.

While you are at it, get rid of the IRS and the damn 1% for govt supported public art. Dont even get me started on this idiotic round of bailouts of banks, insurance companies, manufacturing companies, farmers,
I know I aint gettin a g'd bailout, why should they be any different.
I assure you there are very few representatives or senators that would appreciate me with a red marker and their pork barrel projects.

The really big thing in atmospheric science won't be global warming. In the next few months you are going to be hearing alarms about the South Atlantic hole in the magnetosphere. This will let in massive amounts of particle from the solar wind and destroy life as we know it. Farting cows are small potatoes compared to this doomsday scenario.

Cool thing is, they haven't a clue as to cause, life cycle or growth patterns. We're all gonna die and much sooner than global warming alarmists have predicted, unless a meteor hits first.

IMHO...

Global warming is a fact. As is global cooling. It has clearly been going on since the planet formed and has many periodic and non periodic cycles. The mean temperature on the planet has swung dramatically back and forth many many times.

Man made global warming may be true. But it may be statistically insignificant relative to the natural cycles, and any change we affect may be simply moving around the start and finish dates of something that is going to happen anyway.

Catastrophic global warming (and cooling) seems inevitable. Manhattan was under a mile deep glacier many different times, and will be again. That's gonna be a problem, and I don't know where we will get the power to farm enough to feed everyone. That's probably my biggest fear at this point. The "Warm" side of things bothers me a lot less... farming will move further north (where it will actually be more effective and feed more people cheaper). Sorry for all of you that built your houses on sand, but houses come and go (especially when you build them on sand).

Catastrophic man made global warming? Seems unlikely. But the "science" of it has been so polluted by agendas and dishonesty and dogma, that I have no idea whats true and what isn't, and no clear way to recover any kind of trust (in either the reporting media, or the climate change scientists).

The Incan Indians say it's all over Dec. 20th. 2012. Pack your bags.

Personally I wish this "global warming" (thought I was Buellistic didn't you?) would hurry and get here. We, in Kentucky, have had below average temps since mid November. It's the first time in memory that we've missed school for snow before Thanksgiving and as I type this the snow is starting to accumulate on the grass outside the window. I hate to sound self centered but who wouldn't want to have the ideal temperature in their lifetime? IMO whatever is happening now was not done by this generation, it's been happening over many years and what I do now won't show up for years to come. I try and plant my fair share of trees, I recycle and my family of five only produces one garbage can of trash a week but by golly warmer temps sound pretty inviting, especially now when it's 20 degrees out. Well enough doomsday talk, I think I'll go to the garage and continue to cut down my cam cover.

Thank you Bill, I could not have said it better my self.

I am not for abolishment of the EPA, I worked in an industry if it had not been regulated by the EPA a great deal of the ground water in the SouthEast would be unfit to use.

Cow Farts?, with all of the BS " on the hill" they should start there.

"2008 will be coolest year of the decade"

http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2008/dec/05/ climate-change-weather

"Global average for 2008 should come in close to 14.3C, but cooler temperature is not evidence that global warming is slowing, say climate scientists"

One little problem in this article. They claim, falsely, that 1998 was the hottest on record. NASA released that "mistake" and it has become part of the folklore of the greenie movement. Long after the 1998 date was released, it was noticed that 1932 was, per NASA, the hottest year. This is not the only "mistake" since J.Hansen's ( NASA ) climate change company just announced that Oct, '08 was the hottest month.... then readers noticed that the Russian figures were the same as Sept.

http://anhonestclimatedebate.wordpress.com/2008/11 /11/record-hot-october-in-james-hansons-oven/

Hansen's response was that his company was small & unable to double check the data........ These are the guys who tell the U.N. how hot it's going to be.....

You want to cut down on cow farts? Get rid of all the fast food. That would cut down on it significantly...
