I didn't know the 1100 did that I remembered. I did a search on naked 1098 and I pulled that from a site. |

Looks like another motorcycle with 2 wheels and an engine. I'd certainly try it out, but until then, appearances mean little |

I like it better then the 1125CR already. The price tag is most likely up but if I like a bike enough and I think I can afford or absorb the cash I'll buy it. |

Ride both first, S1. Not that I think it'll change your mind, or mine (Ducs tend toward higher flickability but it's a good practice. That being said, I'm sure I'd agree with you, after said rides. |

Although I have never gotten to ride a 1098. I have ridden a 999S and the same owner of that bike a 2006 S4R. I loved that S4R. The 999S was just to cramped but fun I must say. I'd have to say the 1098 would be just more of what it already is. |

Anyone who feels Ducs aren't supreme rides simply hasn't ridden one, or couldn't handle it. |

My only gripe comes from my knees and my eyes. They are small bikes. I prefer naked bikes, I also grasp the function over form aspect of this vehicle, don't 'mind' the looks, but it's like....like if it was a house, the design, specification, construction and decor was all done by the plumber. |

I like it. I like it a lot. I don't know that I would pay the premium to get it, though. Then again, even if I had the money, I wouldn't buy a Ferrari. Damn practical midwestern streak. |

B-King, 1125CR, Ducati Streetfighter. Am I the only one that thinks the designers cheated off each others drawings? (I mean for the headlights, not the whole bike) Now, I like the Monster. My son has the 696 and I have enjoyed riding it. I'm too old and fat for the 1098. (Message edited by dynasport on November 02, 2008) |

i have one gripe about this bike... the little plastic liquid containers up by the handlebars. why are they out in the open?? it just doesn't look "professional" to me. on the other hand, i'm glad they aren't going with a dry clutch on this one. i really hate the ticking noise that it makes... so i suppose i'll trade one good thing for one bad thing. in my book, this bike is an ace! |

"I like it better then the 1125CR already. The price tag is most likely up but if I like a bike enough and I think I can afford or absorb the cash I'll buy it." Somebody posted here that it'll start at about 14 or so. I'd buy this at 14 way before the Cr at about 12. |

I'll bet that particular model above will be 17G. Meaning thats the S4R. Then the S4 etc. None the less the one I rode I just really liked. |
