Meet Rita;

she's a 1987 Honda Civic DX 2D Hatchback.

1.5L - SCARY torque and 43mpg to boot
5spd manual - for getting those perfect launches with all of that torque!
119,000 miles - just barely broken in
Armstrong power steering - doesn't require fluid
A/C compressor kicks on but has no freon - I'll be cool as ice riding around in this pimpmobile anyway

The car on the right is my 89 Mazda MX6. I keep it around with plans to gut it and race bumblebee class at the local dirt track

At least they're both the same color!

yeah weird.. they're EXACTLY the same color, i checked the paint codes.

If I recall correctly the color is "hideous faded reddish bleh"

The passenger seat belt latch was broken so I pulled one out of the mazda to replace it.

I had no idea that honda and mazda used some of the same parts.
