So I got the adventure bike rider reading bug this summer and peeled through Long Way Around, Long Way Down, Riding with Rilke, and am now reading Zen and Now. When I'm not riding at least I can get some cheap pre-sleep thrills with a read.

What other reads can others here suggest. I guess the obvious being Zen and the Art... and Jupiter's Travels. What else is out there? I might have to make myself a little library.

I wasn't very good at reading the last time there was a thread about biking books.

Two Wheels through Terror was a good one.

Ghost Rider, Travels on the Healing Road.
Neil Peart.

Not as hardcore maybe, but centered around riding.

how about the book carried during the writing of Zen and the Art of Motorcycle?...

WALDEN. Timeless classic, not so much motorcyclin though.
That and a towel are the first two things I pack for a road trip, everything else is luxury.

Ten Years on Two Wheels (Heldge Pedersen)
Chasing Che
The Longest Ride(Emilio Scotto)
One Man Caravan (Robert Fulton)
Odyssey to Ushuaia

All great reads. Couldn't put 'em down until I was done. Same with Two Wheels Through Terror.

The John Britten book by Tim hanna was a good read. Valentino's autobiography was better than I thought it would be and there's always "how to ride" books. Nick Ienastch's book was a good one.

The Neil pert book was also very good.
