Just checked bbc.com (great motosport news reporting, BTW) and they report Hayden has signed with Ducati for next year. Will replace Melandri. Could be another great season....

Worst kept secret on the web.

Glad he is leaving Honda, great company but treats riders badly.

"of course you won, you're on our bike, we know best. Didn't win? your fault, you just shut up and ride it or we will get someone else to do it."- their basic attitude.

Rossi, Edwards and now Nicky...

I am glad he is going to ducati, Hey had the chance they year after he won his championship and i bet he was feeling pretty bad when he didnt and stoner blew the field away. But like miamiuly said they dont care about there riders at all, they swear there championships are won by the bikes not the riders when it is both not one or the other.

1125r's are not motoGP bikes and would never be seeing as they are production bikes and moto GP bikes cannot be production based

He won the championship developing a new bike that was known to have incurable clutch issues. Then they built the new bike primarily around pedrossa.

Oh and Honda screws the riders out of getting the already promised race winning machines sometimes as well("trophy bike" that they won on, their race bike.) They use the old the check is in the mail til you get tired of asking ploy. Nice.

Should be interesting with some support.

I will start cheering for Nicky now that he is detaching himself from Honda.

Anything but Honda.

I am glad to see Nicky leave. He wont have to pit around that little girl Pedrosa anymore. I think Nicky is a stand up racer & good guy!! good luck to him & Ducati next year !!!
