I meet the local HD/Buell dealership owner. He offhanded mentioned he could get me a Uly at cost since I was doing him a favor. I didn't want to press him on the price. But now I am tempted.

Could somebody PM me with the true dealer price on the Ulys.

Black or Orange? , 2006-2007-2008? I think there are franchise rules against disclosing that. So just ask him upfront to see the invoice. You will find it is below MSRP ; )

My dream would be a white police Buell. But I would guess the deal would only be for the instock model and its probably not a 2009.

I'll know the price on Monday when I meet with him again.

The police model is just a standard uly with white plastics, outdoorsman bags and an emergency LED flasher/siren kit. The first two are available through Buell, the last you gotta be an agency to get em. Restricted civilian use.

The police model has factory wiring for the lights and factory brackets. Remove the flashers and you have a nice factory driving lights.

Also the extra lights on the hand protectors can be used as running lights for more safty,.

Yes red is the hue of speed, but because white is the absence of color, its lighter and faster. Also thats why the police use it, they need to pull over all the other color Ulys when they speed. I have never witnessed a orange Uly go over highway speeds, so i doubt they are able too.

The lighting kit is a dealer installed accessory item. It is not stock on the bike. The lights are LED markers only and not off road lights. The bags are the only item that is stock. Ours will be here in two weeks.
