They are predicting below average temperatures and above average snowfall for the Great Lakes and Midwest. Looks like you folks in Michigan and Wisconsin might get blasted, again. (Message edited by ferris_von_bueller on August 20, 2008) |

I hope not I had all I wanted last year in Indiana. The kids had so many snow days they had to go to school an extra week to make it up. Plus it'll mean months of driving the cage with no joy of 2 wheels to look forward to after a hard day in the salt mines. |

I read somewhere on the internet that if the people who are responsible for administering the national security of our country find a Farmers Almanac in your possession you WILL be placed on the threat list. |

Swampy, thats funny. I have my copy, but I hope my aluminum helmet keeps out the Men in Black. PS it will be another shiat-ey winter, the geese have already started coming south. |

I don't need the FA, I have this guy. http://www.johndee.com/index.html He is by far and away the most accurate winter forecaster I've ever seen and he does it out of the U.P. of Michigan. Probably the most difficult spot in the midwest to predict weather. Anybody who snowmobiles Mich or Wi knows who this guy is, he's the Phelps of weather. |
