My brother in law just gave me his 2001 Blast and it seems to have an oil leak. After doing a little research, the oil is probably coming from the rocker box gasket. The question is , where is the best place to get the gasket? Do I need to go to a dealer or are there web sites to to get parts from? Thanks

Check out the sponsors section of this website. Get a shop manual before you tackle this.

You may want to read about the Blast here on BadWeb. Much information on a great bike.

Very common, there is an improved gasket that is used now. You shouldn't have to replace it again.

On th 02 they updated it. PM me if you want some help on it. Blew mine out on my blast, ordered my gasket setup from a sponsor and read up on the manual.
I actually found a slightly easier way than the manual states. Had it done in less than 3 hours.
