With front end damage like that, are you certain the frame is still true/straight? |

Yes I am fairly certain just because of the hit angle the triple tree is probably good but for the money I wanted to be safe rather than sorry same goes for all the bearings and the bars were bent from an earlier drop. But hey ya should of seen the other guy |

}With front end damage like that, are you certain the frame is still true/straight? I ripped the front end off my firebolt and the frame had no damage. This was at about 70mph head first into a ditch. |

Well, after paying a few grand in parts replacement when i re-assembled my X1 my front wheel was visibly OFF center. I noticed it AFTER final assembly It was then either $2500 for a new frame or $800 for frame re-alignment. Tore mine back down and got the frame straightened. I commented here speaking from EXPERIENCE NOT an antagonistic viewpoint |

That sucks however the X1 is a tuber I believe and the XB frame is massive compaired to the X1 frame at the steering head the tubes on mine are unmistakably bent down low you can see the buckle in them the bearings in the stearing head are not broken and the engine mounts are fine I am pretty sure the bike is fine we will see next week |
