Well I was bored at an account today so I decided to jump a forklift
Bad Idea
12500lbs don't fly well but they are fun going backwards

dont try to mud-bog in one either, they dont do well, and you look like an idiot hooking a chain onto it and a bigger forklift to pull it out. and explaining to your boss why you were 5 ft off the pavement in the first place.....

I have a forklift at the sawmill.
When you have a lift of lumber all the way up, dont slam on the brakes. No pics of the incedent...but here is the "Shyster"

I once jumped three buells with a forklift. Once airborne I farted and was able to create enough thrust to do a back flip. However, I didn't see the out-of-control steamroller coming at me till the last minute and thought all was lost. But alas, out of nowhere, I was saved by Chuck Norris' beard. Thank you Chuck.

You should see me driving the standup lifts in my distribution center. If I "mount up" the employees run. I'm well known for running in to things and I even made my mail order packing lady run for the hills one morning as I backed square into her work table - scared the %*&! out of her.

I worked for a printing company a while back. The owner's kid (37 at the time) waited until the old man was out on vacation, then took the company forklift out back to try to jump it. He conchocted a pretty elborate jump made from a metal plank and a bunch of 2x4's. So now before he tries his Moon Shot, he asks somebody to go get the company digital cam corder. He waits until the camera is rolling. Then he zips to the end of tha parking lot, swings her around and proceeds to get a good head of steam....WHAM, he hits the jump and makes it over the end, being airborn for all of .24 seconds, then wafts down into his landing zone....which was all mud and loose gravel. He made the jump, but got the forklift so badly stuck that he had to call a tow truck to lift him out....which arrived about the same time his old man did! The boss cleared us all out, but I peeked outside to watch him and his kid standing by the muddy pit and the old man's arms waving wildly all over the place. He got a 3 day vacation for his jumping ability.

Also dropped a 2700lb electrical transformer from 26 feet up. I about died when it landed. So did the mexican eating his lunch less than a foot from where it landed.
