Small and / or Utility Programs For Windows For all of its faults Windows is a pretty nice OS, but it’s incomplete. My personal gripe is with the lame “One Page At A Time” Clipboard. Other people think the security issue is the number one thing that needs to be fixed so they set up a firewall or refuse to use Outlook Express for their e-mail. What thinkest thou? What sort of small and cheap programs have you added to your Windows operating system to make it more user friendly? What Web sites have you found to be useful? To start things out I’ll offer for your approval. It’s a small freeware program that allows you to copy up to 25 different items into memory and then paste any or all of them into a document. |

I used to have one that had 100 slots back when I used mac os 8 (some 4 years ago), I think they have a windows version. Of course I use Mac OS X now & only use windoze at work. Downside is I gotta' get a pc emulator to run any software for my firebolt. versiontracker is a good software site. Try it out. Also, I think for some hard to find stuff, tucows is a good place to start. I loved that copy/paste program but for some reason I guess I forgot about it. |
