Do any of you have any experience with carbon fiber?

I want to make some body parts, etc. of epoxy-reinforced carbon fiber and need some basic information on the process.

I have done some epoxy/fiberglass fabrication so I am comfortable with epoxy but I have never used CF and I don't want to waste too much in the learning process because it costs a lot more than s-glass.

Any advice regarding the process or information sources would be appreciated.

Dave

Look on the Aircraft Spruce and Specialty web site www.aircraftspruce.com. Their catalog is loaded with info. I never used the web site but it might just have some.
