Now if I could just make it fit it would make some serious HP

We performed a major overhaul on some Ingersoll Rand engines at work and a few pistons were out of spec and needed to be replaced. I took one of them home to make a vise stand out of. The bare piston weights 400lb. Sitting next to the piston is the wrist pin and a used intake valve out of the same engine.

Thought it made for a funny picture.

That's too cool.

I would ask if you had extra but the shipping would kill ;)

That bike is so stunning, it took me a while to notice the piston, pin, and valve sitting next to it.

At first I thought..."Honey, I shrunk the bike!"

Then I thought..."Lookie thar Tiny Elvis! That thang's HUGE!" (for the old SNL watchers)

That vice fits in pretty well too.

Thanks, I would really LOVE to build a shop but don't have the room, or the money.
So I did my best to convert my small two car garage into a shop. The cars stay outside, only the Buell, my scooter (1961 Lambretta TV175) and my tools get to stay inside :-)

I tried to talk the wife into selling the house and building a huge shop with a "house" built into one end, she didn't quite go for it. Not sure why, sounded perfect to me

I think every guy has fantasized about his perfect home/shop. Mine was a huge steel building with two bay doors and an apartment built into one corner.

I got the blank stare when I proposed that one, too... so our garage is my shop.
