Has anyone ever swapped the front end from a Yamaha or other off brand onto their bikes? I am looking for more wheel options along with inverted forks and radial calipers. Also, are their any rear wheels that would be compatible with a tube frame Buell?

Some of the Japanese publications I've come across over the years have adverts for different fork options on Buells. I wouldn't have thought it difficult to find any fork set-up within reason to adapt into a Buell.

Some have fitted single sided arms from RAM, which use a modified or copied Ducati arm. That way you can use Ducati wheels of varying makes.

Be prepared to spend mucho wonga.

You may be able to look into steering head inner diameter as well as bearing sizes for different options to see how easy or hard a swap might be. There will always be some tinkering though. There is no "bolt-on" where you're going : )

As an example, it is possible to swap a GSXR front end onto an SV650 (I'm working on it), and since steering head dimensions are similar, it only requires swapping one of the bearings.

Most triple clamps have a stem that is pressed in.If you make a custom stem to fit your bearings/steering neck you can put on any front end you want.I put a Suzuki TL 1000 front fork set-up on my Yamaha FJ-600 and a CR-80 fork set on an XR-100.Just had a machinist friend make stem to work.Took way longer to take all the measurements that to cut the stem.Be sure to check fork length.

Consider Showa forks made for different brands (certain Aprila and Ducati models are a good place to look) There are also shim kits available to adapt forks into larger triples.
