Do anyone on here, besides me, have the old Eurocomponents fairing on their X-1's? I need some info on the headlight. I did an idiot move and dropped my headlight, shattering the glass. I am trying to get a new light, but can't find out what it came from. In talking with the Eurocomponents distributor in Florida, they said it is from an Aprilia. From looking at the front, it looks like it came from an RS50 (yes, the little moped with the race fairing) but the back mounting is completely different from the US versions. Is it possible that the light from the Euro kit is from a Euro version of the bike and not available in the US?

Thanks for any info!!

I'm fairly certain its from a Ducati Super Sport (as is the fairing design). I'll double check when I get home if I can't find confirmation anywhere else.

I thought the same, but can't find that style headlight on any Duc around the 98-02 time frame. The closest I have found if on an Aprilia RS50, but again, the mounting is totally different.

I do know that the screen is from a Ducati 900 Super Sport (thanks Al at American Sport Bike!!)

Found it. It is an Aprilia Pegaso 3 650 headlight. (model cev 503).

Good to know considering the loss of any kind of product support for this fairing.

Thanks for the info Shadow!! I'll look into getting the right light now.

Blake,

Sorry about where this is posted, I knew that it should have been in the KV body section, but due to time constraints I was trying to get an answer from the tuber family quicker. Can you please move to the right section of the KV?

Thanks again!!
