Are the bolts holes in the venturi for an Carbuerated Buell the in the same location as for an EFI Buell. I am thinking about mounting a small teardrop style or round airfilter to my 2000 X1 and I dont know if the bolt mount holes are the same.

Ratch:
I think so, I used the carb version force winder for my x1 screws are metric in the TB flange, inch I guess for the carb ( Force provides 1/4" x20 socket head cap screws,) a tap will fix that if its an issue the cleaner will have clearence holes if it comes with hardware you may want to check the screws first

I would have to think they are. I have a FI Force winder on my M2. I think the bolts are different though. If I remember correctly (it was 2 years ago) I had to use the stock bolts as the one that came with the kit did not match the threads.

The bolt holes line up but you might have clearance issues with the frame.

Thanks Guys, I have been trying to compare the pics online and they look the same also. I saw one of the guys on this list made his own spacer or I may use one of the spacers from American Sport Bike to do it.
