Anyone know what the screw size is that holds the bumper for the sidestand to the frame? in other words the sidestand bumper screw. (2001 S3T.)

The bolt is part of the bumper (part number 50183-98YA).

The "Dragger" (the rubber piece mounted on the end of the sidestand to flip it up is part number 50197-96Y and it is attached to the sidestand with a screw (part number AA0407.3CBZ) that is a 1/4x20x7/8, hex button hed, zinc, Grade 12.

All info is shown in the parts manual for the 2001 S3T. The manual is Part number 99570-01Y and is available through your dealer.

Thanks guys.
I have the '01 Service Manual but it doesn't list the actual screw size. The 1/4-20 doesn't fit so it must be either 10-24 or 10-32. At any rate I guess I'll check with Dave and get the bumper and screw rather than rig something.

Screw size = dia and threads/inch, eh. ie 8-32 or 10-32. (of course metric is different)
