A while back there was a post about gutting an air-box complete w/ photos and instructions. Now I can't seem to find it in the vault. Two questions;

A) Can anyone remember when/where the thread is?

B) Does gutting the air-box actually improve performance and an S3T?

Not wanting to be a smart-alek, but it's like asking what oil to use...

Removing the long snorkel tube and installing a K&N filter with the shaped intake adapter ring will increase air flow. Re-jetting the stock carb will also add some snap to the throttle.

Look in the Knowledge Vault in the carburetor section...
