Im lucky enough to have a friend with a cnc, and am thinking about going with an xb swingarm, but retaining the factory S1 shock. So just welding a bracket to bolt to the shock under the swingarm. I was planning on going with a late tuber swingarm, and figured since im already running xb forks, wheels, brakes, heads... might as well run the swingarm too since my oil tank is starting to leak everywhere. |

The oil tank is in the swingarm and the lines come out of the bottom so no place to weld a mount with any stregnth. Also its not that sime of a swap you will either need to weld the holes in your existing rear sprocket and redrill and make a spacer and get a bigger belt or go with an XB rear and find a diffrent belt and possibly front pully. Not a simpli swap relocating electronics etc Joes took a couple years I am going on a year there is alot to figure out. Only reason to do this swap is get rid of factory oil tank which sounds like your not doing get rid of pull shock which you are not doing and because you want too. |
