Hello guys.

I just wanted to ask if my VIN sticker is legit (I have no idea how original one looks).

Guys from Europe, you also have this simple sticker without any additional informations in it?(like weight and so on)

I need to be sure, so I shouldn't have any problems.

Thank you so much

Really? It isnt necessary in GB as we are both part of union?
I am curious if they didnt come with sticker, or you just lost it or something.
We need sticker and also global homologation (it is called ES or ECE or something like that, but I probably dont have any)

Well it doesn't look anything like one of the stickers for a domestic (US) market bike, so....

Mine did have a safety sticker or similar on it before I had the frame nickel plated, but I do not ever remember seeing a VIN sticker. Do consider EU regulation and UK regulation was a lot different in 1998 for automotive compliances. This included how vehicles were marked and how these markings were displayed about the vehicle. I could not begin to remember the specifics now. Sorry. It's far to complicated and includes the obvious differences to driving on the left or right. Safety issues. And emission and road fund licensing. Very confusing and somewhat complicated.

I would image Buell (HD?)would know the answer better than anyone as they would have put the stickers on for whatever market. Where and who has this technical stuff archived I have no idea.
