My S3 and her wide hips tipped over my S2 and broke the right side rider footpeg mount on the S2. I don't want to talk about it. Anybody sitting on a footpeg mount (or a pair of them) they'll sell? I'm gonna puke. Write back soon. Thanks.

You can weld them. Are they the standard or the lowered tour mounts?

If it's a non-T model, the mounts are straight...and they should be a standard HD "male mount" footpeg mount.

You didn't break the sideplate, did you?? Just the footpeg mount?

They aren't straight out - they look to be lowered by barely an inch, so I suppose they're "touring." Sideplate is fine, thankfully.

My back up t pegs, one of them has been welded by a po, they worked fine until I got the current set. Rat- are you sure about that? The S2 pegs I think have a different back mounting config and shape to mount to the sideplate.

It's been 2-3 years ago, so they may not be available.

But, back then I put the S2T down in the snow and snapped off a mount. At that time they were still available from Buell/Harley. They are expensive little buggers though. I'm wanting to say that I paid $65 for each. Found a set on e-bay for much cheaper...

Just a thought.

Found a set through Latus H-D. Cost wasn't terrible so I bought new mirrors too, just to make up for having tipped her over. What a dope I am.
