On My 1995 S2, are the bubbles caused by a poor paint issue or something in the glass mix?? I would love to repaint next winter but do not want the same issue to crop up if a glass issue

Thanks, and sorry if this has been discussed

Rob

I just had my S2 repainted by the person who did the body work at Buell in the early 90s so he is a huge knowledge source about the fairings. Because the fiberglass molds were poor and the need to get the bikes out they used a lot of body putty especially in the rear fairing thus the cracking later. On my bike he stripped off the paint. Ground out as much of the puddy as possible. Refiberglassed. Shaped parts back to original shape. The final product is better than original. Hope this helps.
