Started investigating the lean condition my x1 was exhibiting. Popping on decel, stumble, light tan plugs, fairly typical lean indicators. So I pull off the airbox cover, and discover that the PO had left what appears to be a small 18x18 inch square baby spitup blanket in there behind the filter box. 0_o So I pull that out, button the bike back up, and no more lean symptoms. I've found all kinds of weirdness in bikes from previous owners, this is a first for me. |

Good thing it didn't get sucked in and shut the engine down. Something like that would make your brown eye pucker with a quickness... |

I can't for the life of me figure out what he was thinking. I left him an email, I wonder if his wife's been looking for that blankie? Yeah Sanders, I completely agree with that puckerage assessment. Not good. |

Sounds to me like he was sopping up the puke coming out of the head breathers so it didn't drip out onto the header....... |

Yep! That'll fix 'er! Admittedly, The original setup that came with my forcewinder seemed to be DELIBERATELY aimed at condensing water out, collecting it into tablespoon-sized servings and hoarking it out onto my right shoe. |

PO says he was trying to stop the blowby from dripping down on the headers. Jkgonzo pick up your winnings at the convenience window! |
