Trying to get tunerpro up an running on my 1999 X1.

When starting the program, the bottom toolbar lists the bikes specific ECM so that means they are communicating. But when trying to acquire data the bottom toolbar icon stays yellow saying DA: Not Connect.

I tried updating the payload and body size in increments of 1 from 99-135.

Any help with this? If not I'm probably going to run with ECMspy

How are you connected to the ECM what cable are you using. "I" don't like that program at all for what you are doing. I know it says many models and buell was listed. But i bet its just a hassle. If you can get it to work great! I would get a cable from AL at......http://www.americansportbike.com/shoponline/ccp0-p rodshow/A9317.html

I was just looking at Al's comments on the tuner pro being powerful but also very complicated. If you buy a cable many of us here have ECMspy and would gladly forward you a copy! I keep back up copies in multiple hard drives and 1 copied into a flash drive in the parts drawer.

What are you trying to do? ECMspy is easier to use but is more limited. Given the primitive nature of the DDFI1 bikes you can probably do everything you want on ECMspy. TunerPro is only really needed on the DDFI3 bikes.
