Ok I am planning to ATTEMPT to put the race map on my ECM via ECMspy. If I do this or not I have a question: Im about to put a new exhaust on the bike (force) and wondered how long it took for the bike to see this difference and adjust for it. This is for a race only bike, so Im pretty limited on how many miles i can put on it (and honestly I can only 'joy ride' it in the pits at the track) Thanks for any help |

If you only go up and down the track the only thing you are worried about is WOT! I have been running my X1 for 4 yrs on the track only and the best thing I ever did was unplug the O2 sensor so the ECM doesn't make any adjustments on its own. Take the bike to a dyno get your fuel mapping right and then only adjust your AFV according to track conditions and humidity. You will learn other things to adjust over time, or we can talk offline. Take this for what its worth it works for me, you've seen me run and I have consistent time slips to back it. |
