How was the fuel stored and how was it put away.

I'm surprised you can get it to run at all with gas almost 2 years old. Doesn't take much bad gas to gum up jets.

Without being there, I'm thinking carb jets.

Heck, we didn't put StaBil in the tank of the little dirtbike (XT225) and in just 6 months, had to pull the carb and clean the jets. I "PLANNED" to run it every once in a while over the Winter... but didn't so had to rebuild the carb (actually Sunny did, it's her bike)

Funny though: usually if a carb is going to gum up, it's going to gum up the idle jets first.

Are you sure it was rejetted for the V&H pipe?

Either case, it sounds like you're going into the carb and laying eyes on your jets.

Sounds like the accellerator pump is non-functioning.

Hmmm. Hole the size of a quarter?

I have to admit that I didn't see that coming : )
