Looking to run my 1999 X1 Lightning in for a once-over before putting it up for a couple of months. I just picked it up a couple of weeks ago

Is there any good v-twin shop around SE Wisconsin that I can do business with?

If you are mechanically inclinded, get yourself a service manual for your bike and do the service yourself(you'll save money,1st off and foremost, and 2nd you'll get to know your bike and how to work on it)and get yourself some fuel stabilizer to put in the tank as well as getting a battery tender to keep the battery charged up.Also may want to invest in front and rear bike stands to keep the tires off the ground so as not to get"flat spots" on the tires.Just my two cents worth.
