Just a few weeks away from my trip which take me from NY to CA via Homecoming! Here's my rough checklist of things to do to the bike - looking for any input anyone might have...

Bike is a 2002 S3T, about 13,000 miles on it.

MUST DO:
change engine oil
change primary oil
replace tires (have them and all the tools to do it)
repack race muffler (have everything I need)
remount saddlebags (just finished fiberglassing them)

SHOULD DO:
install HID headlight (ordered)
install XB belt
replace rear isos (as long as I'm doing the belt)
wash bike (haven't done it since I've owned it, lol)
reset TPS (for good measure)

WANT TO DO:
build a luggage rack for my Givi top case

Along the way I'll be giving the bike a good checkover, especially the front isolator since that was all replaced last fall. I'll also look at things like the wheel bearings while I have the wheels off.

Anything anyone can add? I'm still not sure if I should do the XB belt swap or not, and if I do I don't know if I should go all the way and replace the rear isos or just leave the originals ones in there since they look good.

Also - can anyone out there with the Ventura rack on an S3 or S3T tell me what the mounting points are? I'd like to use the bolts that hold on the rear turn signals but I want to make sure this will be strong enough.
