Just received my can and it has 1/8" pipe and a 1/4" hose barb is that sufficient size or do those of you that have them do something different |

So your just running the fittings that came with it? I have 3/8"id hose running from the breathers to a simple cone filter now. Just til this can showed up. Did you use 1/4"id all the way from the vavle cover or did you use 3/8 then step down to the 1/4 fitting. Thanks |

I used the fittings that came with it. and i did use bigger tubing, And then i just used a hose clamp to snug it up! It was very easy, And i mounted it up front so i didn't need a ton of tubing. I think i used 1\2" rubber hose?? Oh yeah i also did the xb rocker box cover conversion. So i am using the pcv valves. |

Don't know what prey used but I used a Filter from AutoZone on that exact same can! $9.99. It looks exactly like the K&n one they sell at Pegasus Racing Supply but is an off brand! |

I bought the tiny k&n filter with a huge discount as i am an authorized installer of there products and a repair facility with wholesale discounts. I will post a pic when i get home from work, My 11 hour shift is about up! If i were you i would do the rocker box upgrade. The cost of the parts is only $117 and so much better than the stock re-breathing into the intake. |

The filters from most parts stores are APC brand. I bought the stainless one for $11.99 and the "stainless" filter part rusts but it doesn't really bother me. As for the fittings on the Pegasus can, I picked up a different fitting from the plumbing section at westlake's. IIRC it's 1/4" pipe thread on the can side and 3/8" hose barb on the other side. |

on Betty: on Silver: an interesting note: On the Uly and the catch can setup that locates the filter on a length of hose away from the catch can, I never get anything leaking from the filter, it all collects in the can. The X1 however, with the filter mounted directly to the can, makes a mess if I let the can get more than about 1/3 full. I also think it's weird that the X1 pukes a lot more than the Uly even though both have XB rocker covers. I only get water from the Uly catch can, but the X1 collects quite a bit of splooge. |
