Here are my XB forks for my X1 finally powdercoated. Uppers are 60% gloss to match my frame, and the lowers and triple tree is Wet black with acrylic clear. Going out now to assembly them. Just got all my new seals yesterday from Al. next on the list in my swingarm, wheels, front caliper, and handlebars |

BTW it lowered my front about 1.5-2" and I think it looks AWESOME (I have the fairing on now). I can't wait to order the new fender. |

Those forks look awesome! I will be doing something similar to my X1 this winter (except I will anodize the uppers black). My X1 has a black frame and body work, with the the factory chrome tail and PM wheels...I think that an all black front end would look fantastic on it! I just did something similar to my fiances XB: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/327 77/562148.html?1273244642 All the white is powder coat, the uppers are anodized blue. |

looks nice. I had planned on anodizing the uppers black but i do my own powdercoating so i went that route... |

Very cool. Have you assembled them yet? I went with anodizing for 2 reasons: 1) a unique look, and 2) the thickness- anodizing does not increase the thickness of the forks as it is not a coating, rather it changes the color of the metal. I'm anxious to hear how easily you get them assembled without scratching up the powder! |

They are not assembled but i have slid them into the triples just to see how they look. I still need to fill them with oil. |

I really like that red, I want to put a few more red bits like that on my bike. Fork legs look great. Andy, that's nice work on that XB. |
