I took a while but I finally finished doing a flat black powdercoating on various parts for my 2002 X1 White Lightning using my home made curing oven.
I also fabricated some brackets to do a dual headlight conversion using a new style windshield.
Here are a few pics of the process, now I just have to put it all back together!!!

What kind of paint did you use for the engine case? I wanted to PC it as well but didn't want to have to split the case.
Also, does anyone know if there is a way to remove the part at the bottom of the tube circled in red in the following pic? I wanted to PC it but didn't dare put the whole tube in the oven (with curing temperatures higher than 400F, I was afraid to warp it). Thanks in advance.

Put the whole tube in the oven, you won't hurt it.

I'll get on with the rebuild as soon as possible, but first I have to rebuild the engine (124") and put it back in my StreetGlide.
