I noticed my S2 has been chewing on the sleeve and oil line near the back side of the primary as the engine moves up and down. What do you guys recommend for replacement line and where can I get it?

I was planning on just getting some 5/16" rubber fuel line but was not sure if it was compatible with oil.

I replaced all my oil lines with stainless steel braided lines! They look nice and are much better quality. Picked them up at a local import speed shop!

I prefer not using braided stainless. The stuff tends to chew on anything it touches unless shielded with something.

For those that may be interested, the lines are 3/8" and it must be oil line, not just fuel line.

I used Gates transmission cooler hose from a auto parts store. It is for oil and it is rated for high pressure.

Keep in mind one of the hoses is a suction hose, pressure doesn't matter.
You really don't want that one collapsing.

IMHO, as others will recommend is AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION LINE(you can put wire brade'ing over it if you want) ...

As a PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE you should check your oil lines for RUB PLACES ...

If you find one or more you can take an old oil line and cut to length split'ing it to fit over the hose placing at the rub spot holding in place with safety wire ...
