I finally picked up my 97 Cyclone. I love the bike, but after my 230 mile maiden voyage I would like a better seat. Did corbin ever make a seat for a 97 M2? If anyone has any other ideas I would be interested also.

Yep, corbin made a seat for the '97's. Here's a listing on craigslist

They show up every now and again on eBay. Another idea is updating the tank/tail/seat to the 99-02 version. I've never ridden with an early seat, but everyone says that the later style is much more comfortable.

I took my stock seat to an appoulsterer?and had them add about two inches of width using high density foam, they also puthigh density foam throughout the seat then recovered the whole seat.It turned my seat from a 100mi.seat to a 250mi.seat and cost about $250.00.

Thanks for the input. I have been considering taking the seat to someone who can put a higher density foam in the stock seat. I think part of the problem is the soft foam.

Corbins on the skinny seats are good, the fat corbins are better, but the bodywork is ugly i think. Ill post pics up later tonight

I bought a Corbin and didn't think worth the money. I'm 6' and too close to seat. Bought a used pan, got a block of foam, but it like a Bonneville (flat), and sent to Sargent Seats for their foam and cover. 3 weeks got it back and the BEST money spent. I can move around and use the whole seat and better two up. thanks.
